My name is Gustavo Granados. I am a 39-year-old full-stack developer with dreams of becoming a video game, VR, and AR software developer.
I currently live in Mexico and have around 15 years of experience in information technology. During that time, I have developed multiple applications that have brought great success to people and businesses, increasing productivity, reducing operation time, and overall improving the quality of work life.
I have a master’s degree in IT Security, and I use that knowledge in every system I work on.
My biggest passion is video games, and that’s the reason I pursued my major. I hope to create one someday or work with a passionate team to create something very special
Professionalism and commitment have always been my greatest virtues. I dedicate myself to projects and fight to achieve the goal. There are battles that are easier or more difficult than others, but you learn from all of them, and it makes you a better person.
Teamwork is key to archive success, I’m very grateful to everyone who has worked with me through the years, I always try to learn from others, listen and respect every opinion.
I have worked for many companies and in different roles. I have been: technical support, graphic designer, community manager, network installer, IT manager, project manager, business analyst, backend programmer, frontend developer, database designer, etc. This variety of roles has given me the ability to interact with all types of clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
My life has always been linked to helping and providing good service. I love being able to deliver a product or service that helps others.
My skills lie in frontend and backend operations, business analysis, security operations, and working or leading projects using agile methodologies such as SCRUM.
I have worked with automation tools such as Workato and UIPath to provide solutions that involve zero or very little interaction with the user.
I’ve been studying Unreal Engine in my free time, focusing on code usage (C++), blueprints, and some multiplayer and virtual reality testing (Oculus Quest).
